Ms. Algeria - PREK LEAD Teacher
Ms. Algeria has a passion for working with children and has been in the field for over 7 years. She has a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications. She has worked with children from all different backgrounds and strives to make each student feel confident in their abilities. Algeria’s favorite part about being a teacher is getting the students excited about learning and watching them discover new concepts! When she is not in the classroom, Algeria loves spending time with her family and friends! She also enjoys reading, biking, skating and traveling!
Mrs. Amy - Threes LEAD Teacher & Music Teacher
Mrs. Amy is a native Roanoker and the mother of two somewhat grown children. She has enjoyed teaching preschool since her youngest entered a two year old class twenty years ago! She loves music, walking, and being active within her church.
MRs. JEANNIE - Twos LEAD TEACHER & art Teacher
Mrs. Jeannie has been teaching preschool for several years and is excited to join the Twos class. Mrs. Jeannie is the mom of three boys, and in her spare time enjoys hiking, gardening, and travelling.
MRs. Ramona - Assistant TEACHER & GERMAN TEACHER
Mrs. Ramona grew up in Germany and moved to the United States in 2013. She has four children ages 7 months to 20 years old. She has always had an interest in early childhood education and taught at a Kindergarten school in Germany. She is happy to continue learning and teaching here at GCBC Preschool. She loves reading, history, and spending time with her family.
MRs. Daphne - Assistant TEACHER
Mrs. Daphne and her family recently relocated to Roanoke from Blythewood, SC. She has been married for 17 years and they have 4 children, a dog, a cat, a bunny, and 5 chickens. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in cultural anthropology, and enjoys spending time with her family and pets, reading, hiking, a good cup of coffee, and growing in her walk with God. When time allows, she is a volunteer speaker for Women at Risk, Int’l - an organization that is engaged in the war against human trafficking. She is excited to be a part of the GCBP family and looks forward to getting to know each of our families in the years to come.

Mrs. Laura is a mother of three, one son and two daughters. Laura and her husband relocated to Roanoke in 2006. She has been in the child care field for over 15 years. Laura strives to provide a nurturing environment where children can grow academically as well as spiritually. She looks forward to getting to know each student and help lay the foundation for their future achievements.
Mrs. Laura B. - Director
Mrs. Laura is a mom of two and loves exploring with her students and learning about the world around them and God's very special role in their lives. She is excited to see the growth that occurs with our students as they progress through our preschool program. She is always looking to provide a variety of activities for her classes including cooking, music, yoga, science, art, and reading, just to name a few. She has been involved with the preschool since 2005, first as a parent, then teaching, then directing since 2014.
