Curriculum
Grandin Court Baptist Preschool utilizes the STREAMin3 curriculum University of Virginia Curry School of Education. STREAMin3 is a comprehensive play-based curriculum aligning with Virginia’s Early Learning & Developments Standards designed to support students from birth-preschool. STREAMin3 focuses on five Core Skills (Relate, Regulate, Think, Communicate, and Move) that form the building blocks for later learning and six STREAM Skills (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math) that prepare children for academic success in kindergarten and beyond. All of these skills map directly onto the developmental sequences and expectations that support early learning for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
